Match Format and Objective
Each match in Battle Zone drops you into a compact arena with several other players. The goal is to earn points by tagging opponents, and rounds wrap up in roughly five minutes. That short window shapes every decision: you rarely have time to camp, so staying mobile and aware of pickups matters more than holding a single position.
Movement, Aiming, and Resource Pressure
Standard keyboard inputs handle movement, but a slower mode lets you aim carefully when lining up a shot or dodging incoming fire. A dedicated reload key keeps your blaster ready, grenades create area denial or flush out hiding opponents, and right-clicking focuses your aim for tighter targeting. Energy and ammunition pickups are scattered around the map, which forces you to keep moving rather than settle into one spot.
Drone-Delivered Tools
Points earned during a round can be spent on special tools delivered by drones that fly to your position. This adds a tactical layer: you decide whether to save for a powerful tool or spend on smaller advantages. Because the delivery is visible to other players, timing and placement matter as much as the purchase itself. The current tool variety is limited, with expansion planned.
Teams, Performance, and Beta Status
Free-for-all is the default mode, but players can form temporary teams with friends. Covering each other while collecting pickups or setting up ambushes can shift a match, and communication helps in the fast pace. The game runs in modern browsers via WebGL without downloads, and the developers target low latency and steady frame rates. As a beta, it receives regular updates, though the arena map is currently a single environment.
