Core Objective & Setup
The goal is to move every card from a standard 52-card deck into four piles, each dedicated to a single suit. These piles must be built from the lowest card, the Ace, up to the highest, the King. The game begins with cards spread across seven columns, with only the top card of each column face-up. This arrangement creates a puzzle that requires careful sequencing and foresight to solve.
Moving Cards Between Columns
Players can shift cards between the seven columns to create descending sequences that alternate between red and black suits. For example, a black 7 can be placed on a red 8. Building these sequences is essential because it helps reveal hidden cards buried in the columns. Empty columns provide a temporary holding space for any card, which can be strategically used to reorganize the layout.
Drawing from the Stock Pile
When no further moves are possible on the board, players can draw additional cards from a reserve pile. This stock pile introduces new options and keeps the game moving forward. The way cards are drawn (one at a time or in groups) can affect the difficulty and the strategies players choose. Managing the stock pile wisely is a key part of completing the puzzle.
Tracking Progress & Adjusting Moves
The game includes a move counter and a timer, allowing players to monitor their efficiency. An undo feature lets players reverse any move, which encourages experimentation with different sequences without penalty. This flexibility helps players learn from mistakes and refine their approach over time. The interface is designed to be simple and responsive, supporting drag-and-drop controls for smooth interaction.
Visual Design & Accessibility
The interface uses clean, uncluttered visuals that minimize distractions. Cards are clearly readable, and animations are smooth without being flashy. The game works across different devices, including desktops and tablets, providing a consistent experience. This straightforward design helps players focus on the puzzle itself rather than navigating complicated menus.
Suitable for All Ages
This card puzzle is appropriate for players of any age group. It does not contain any mature themes, violence, or competitive pressure. The challenge comes from personal improvement and logical reasoning rather than from external opponents. Players can enjoy short sessions during a break or longer sessions when they have more time to concentrate.
